Tangled 02:52
Wrapped together tightly like a tangled ball of yarn, don't know where I begin or where you end. And this fire flowing through our limbs is hotter than the outside world can handle so we'll start the day as friends. And as the moments tick away, we'll steal glances gone unnoticed; the fuel that keeps our candle burning on. And as the darkness settles down and all the world is bathed in slumber, we will once again be tangled 'til the dawn. We will once again be tangled 'til the dawn.

Johnny Dear 04:13
Johnny dear can I make it clear that we were we were meant to be? You were standing near but you could not hear the saints calling you to me. You've got your high shades on, your shadow's overdrawn, and you are lost in cloudy dreams. Oh Johnny dear if you were crystal clear than you would belong to me. Johnny dear it is what I feared, you are far from all you seek. Still see him hanging there but act like you don't care, you rest your demons in the deep. Make sure your eyes are red and keep your noses white; pretend her love is what you need. But Johnny dear her love will disappear; she'll leave you strung out at your peak. Oh, I'm what you need. Johnny dear remember late last year when I couldn't sleep at all? Oh, I was crying drunken tears, oh I was full of fear when I finally made that call. We planned our future out, said you were ready now, but I was right to have my doubts cuz Johnny dear just downed another beer; he still can't wash the devil out. Oh, can't save him now.

Painted faces hide the beauty below. Pretty faces all a part of the show. I don't want you to see me as I am. I don't want you to know me on the inside. Perfect faces like pictured in the magazines. Pick your pallet; choose a color, choose a me. I don't think that you would like me as I am. I don't think that you could love me for what's inside. Every night I wipe away the girl that you've grown to love and face the one that's scared to show herself and all the flaws that come from fighting for a sunken soul in a world that tells her she's unpretty. Painted faces hide the beauty below. Pretty faces all a part of the show. Maybe one day you'll see me as I am and you'll love all my beauty on the inside.

You said I'd never find anyone who cared about me like you do. And you said I'd never find anyone who loved me the way you do. You said... But as I recall, your love wasn't love at all. It was merely control. You were the chain and I was the ball. And as I remember, I could never hold your hand without feeling it strangling mine. Oh yeah, it was strangling mine. But then I let go, I let go. And what do you know? I found someone I could hold, I could hold up. And what do you know? It was me, myself, and I. You said I'd never get anywhere without you standing by my side. And you said I'd never be anyone without you as a helping guide. You said... But as I recall, your help wasn't help at all. It was merely control. You were the chain and I was the ball. And as I remember, I could never hold your hand without feeling it strangling mine. Oh yeah, it was strangling mine. But then I let go, I let go And what do you know? I found someone I could hold, I could hold up. And what do you know? It was me, myself, and I. Me, myself, and I. Not you. Oh, I let go, I let go And what do you know? I found someone I could hold, I could hold up. And what do you know? It was me, myself, and I.

Roundabout 05:32
Driving slowly down the highway. So this is where we are now: Aimless wanderers, aimless in our love. Passing every exit, not quite ready to get off this ride. Hoping maybe we will find some direction for our love. Some direction for our love Some direction for our love. Something to guide us. Driving slowly down the highway. So this is where we are now: Aimless wanderers, aimless in our love. We've been driving round in circles far too long now. Far too long. I've grown dizzy from this romance. I am done with this roundabout. We've been driving round in circles far too long now. Far too long. I've grown dizzy from this romance. I am done with this roundabout love.

I'm settling down, I wanna see where this is goin'. Done lookin' around cause it's you that's got me glowin' this rosy red, makin' me so dizzy in my head. Oh, I'm settling down, I'm settling down. Done playin' the game, all my cards are on the table. And I'm not ashamed. I'm ready, and I'm able to deeply fall. Oh yeah, I'm givin' you my all! Oh, I'm settling down. I'm settling down for you. Oh, all I was after were green, green, green pastures and now I see, they were right in front of me. Of all the disasters that my heart had mastered, you puzzled me with a love so pure and sweet. And now I believe that love could last a lifetime. The kind that bends knees, so tell me, will you be mine forevermore? Oh, what are you waitin' for? Come settle down. Come settle down with me.
